Description:

Psychology involves the scientific study of the human mind and behaviours. It examines all aspects of behaviour as well as the thoughts, feelings and motivations underlying respective behaviours.

Goal:

This course is designed to enable the students understand the dynamics of human behaviour in order to be able to adjust to various situations and to work effectively with others

Objectives:

At the end of the unit, the learners should be able to:

2.0            Describe the development of behaviour

3.0       Explain the principles of personality development
4.0       Describe the process of learning

5.0       Describe the human memory

6.0       Explain human emotions

7.0       List the processes of attitude-formation and change

8.0       Describe the psychological basis of management in industries and organizations

9.0        Explain the psychological effects of health

10.0     Identify the methods of assessment in experimental psychology
