DESCRIPTION: 

Peri-operative eye care is aimed at equipping the students to know the rudiments of ophthalmic surgery, ocular disorders requiring surgeries and peri-operative care process.

GOAL:

This course is designed to enable students acquire knowledge on peri-operative eye care

Objectives:

By the end of the course, the student should be able to:

1.0   Describe ophthalmic surgery

2.0   Identify ocular disorders that require surgeries

3.0   Identify requirements for peri-operative eye care

Describe peri-operative eye care process
