Description:
This is targeted at equipping the students with the basic knowledge on disorders of the eye as they relate to the child and the older persons; their examinations and management.
Goal:
This course is designed to enable students acquire knowledge on Newborn and Geriatric eye care
Objectives:
By the end of the course, the student should be able to:
1.0 Describe newborn and geriatrics
2.0 Describe various eye disorders of the newborn, their examination and management
3.0 Describe how our eyes grow and change as we get old
4.0 Describe learning disabilities and vision
5.0 Describe various eye disorders of the older persons, their examination and management
