Description:

Sexual and Reproductive Health care is a group of methods, techniques and services that contribute to reproductive health and wellbeing by preventing and solving sexual and reproductive health problems. It includes sexual health, recognizes the diversity of the special needs of women, before, during and after child bearing age as well as the needs for men and adolescents

Goal:

This course is aimed at equipping the student with the knowledge and skills to provide reproductive health services

Objectives:

By the end of the course, the student should be able to:

1.0  Explain the Overview of Human Sexuality

2.0  Discuss the Concept of Reproductive Health

3.0  Discuss Sexual and Reproductive Rights

4.0  Describe Abortion

5.0 Discuss Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) including HIV/AIDS.

6.0 Discuss the Reproductive Health Disorders.

7.0 Describe Menopause and Andropause

8.0 Discuss Reproductive Tract Malignancies
