The course is centered on equipping students with knowledge and skills on epidemiological distribution of nutritional diseases, determinants, deterring factors to nutritional disease spread; nutritional and epidemiological data management for informed decision making.

Goal:

This course is designed to equip students with knowledge on nutritional epidemiology, surveillance and advocacy

Objectives:

On completion of this course, the student should be able to:

1.0  Define nutritional epidemiology, surveillance and advocacy

2.0  Identify the components of nutritional epidemiology, surveillance and advocacy

3.0  Discuss surveillance and advocacy

4.0  Explain nutritional epidemiology and diseases
