Goal:

This course is designed to provide Students with desired knowledge and skills on Concept of Epidemiology.

On completion of the course, students should be able to:

2.0  Know the Measures of Diseases Occurrences and Association

3.0  Understand the Study Designs in Epidemiology

4.0  Know the Epidemiological Modeling

5.0  Understand Data Analysis and Presentation

6.0  Discuss Dynamics of Disease Transmission

7.0  Describe the Casualty and Casual Inference

8.0  Discuss Health Facility based Infections and Epidemiology

9.0  Know the Importance of Applied Epidemiology to Health Policies

10.0         Manage Data using Statistical Packages such as SAS, Epi Info, Open Epi. SPSS etc.
